Nottingham Sustainable Urban Development Strategy

(including Nottingham, Broxtowe, parts of Ashfield, Gedling and Rushcliffe)

This call is looking to enhance access to, and use and quality of, Information and Communications Technology (ICT), enhance the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises and supports the shift towards a low carbon economy and more specifically:

  • Developing ICT products and services, e-commerce, and enhancing demand for ICT
  • Promoting entrepreneurship, in particular by facilitating the economic exploitation of new ideas and fostering the creation of new firms, including through business incubators
  • Promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy use in enterprises
  • Supporting energy efficiency, smart energy management and renewable energy use in public infrastructure, including in public buildings, and in the housing sector

Up to £9,800,700 of funding is available through this call (£780,000 under Priority Axis 2, £5,510,700 under Priority Axis 3 and £3,510,000 under Priority Axis 4).

A minimum value of £500,000 of European Regional Development funding can be applied for.


Match Funding

Applicants must identify that they can provide eligible match funding at 50% of total project costs.


Location

Projects put forward under this call must cover the D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership area but more specifically the Nottingham Sustainable Urban Development strategy area including Nottingham, Broxtowe, and parts of Ashfield, Gedling and Rushcliffe.

The Outline application deadline is Friday 2 March 2018 with review points at:

  • Friday 10 November 2017
  • Friday 5 January 2018

Completion date

It is anticipated that funding from this call will be awarded for up to 3 years.
