The workshop was an opportunity to begin a conversation about how the VCSE can further contribute towards the delivery of D2N2 LEP objectives. The request for this workshop came at a time when the LEP was beginning to reassess the Strategic Economic Plan for the D2N2 area but also as conventional match funding for programmes is looking uncertain.
The workshop summarised progress made by D2N2 LEP to date, provided an overview of the risks to future provision and began a strategic conversation with the VCSE sector on how future strategy should be developed and how the VCSE sector can contribute.
This project is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020 in England.
