Low Carbon SME Network launched

The University of Derby has launched an online network which provides a central hub for news and information about low carbon business network activities, as well as news about other regional and national events and sector initiatives.

The University has started to build a map of low carbon goods and services providers in the region which allows SMEs to register on the network to connect with other low carbon providers and procurers across the region.

The network offers free support, information, resources and business networking; plus invitations to ‘taster’ Growth Accelerator club and Pitch Green events that help low carbon SMEs access major supply chains.

In the Spring, the Low Carbon Business Network will be hosting a free sustainability summit on Energy Efficiency and Competitiveness through Responsible Supply Chains, in partnership with the East Midlands Chamber. Details will be available on the website after Christmas, but to register your interest please email Kay Walker at K.Walker@derby.ac.uk
